Since the start the vineyards have been operated to sell most of the fruit to North Coast wineries and a percentage held out for the Northern CA home (amateur winemaker) market. Only a small percentage of grape production is kept for wine production under the existing labels.
We grow many ‘Alternative’ varieties and seek even more to satisfy the more ambitious exploration of variety. So much so this has become the focus for the vineyards going forward, with mainline vines being grafted to new limited availability selections.
Recently a test block of Trousseau Noir, a grape of the Jura in France, had been established. Going forward in 2018 Chenin Blanc takes center stage as significant grafting over 23 year old Zinfandel vines is contracted. An exceptional field clone has been sourced from the Sierra Foothills and proven itself well in the “Heritage White” block over multiple vintage fermentations. 2019 has brought the establishment of Assyrtiko and more Vermentino.
In2020 grafted wood of Mencia (Spanish red of Galicia) to complement our Albarino program. At same time installed the beginning of a new Sherry block with old varieties of Mission, Palomino and Pedro Ximenez for one of our new clients

While there are significant long term commitments for much of the fruit, seasonal opportunities to buy grapes exist each year. Getting orders in early for the un-contracted fruit is the only sure way to secure your needs. We recommend contact back to us in early spring (March – May) to find the full breadth of annual opportunities.
Grapes are sold by the ton or pound FOB vineyard. Pricing is directly influenced by Crush District 5 previous year crush reports from California. Suisun Valley, along with Green Valley are the only two North Coast AVA in Solano County (Crush District 5) and represent the top of scale within the annual varietal pricing from district 5. All prices are negotiated based upon requirements and logistics of buyers
For North Coast quality the Suisun Valley represents some of the best value that can be found. High quality fruit at appropriate pricing in the North Coast is a reality. Listed below are coming vintage grapes available for sale.

There are three blocks of grapes in the King Andrews porfolio; Estate, Gitsham and McMullin
Estate Block:
Comprised of the heritage whites Trousseau Gris, Chenin Blanc, Butschera, Chasselas Dore, Vermentino along with small smounts of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Gitsham Block
Comprised of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Trousseau Noir, Mencia, Chenin Blanc, Vermentino and Assyrtiko. Sherry grapes Mission, Palomino, Pedro Ximenez
McMullin Block
Comprised of Grenache Blanc, Albarino, Syrah and Petite Sirah.
